From February 10 to 13, 2026, New York will host WEMUN NY, the largest Model United Nations conference in the world. This is a unique opportunity for high school to engage with peers from all over the globe, addressing major global challenges such as human rights, the environment, and international security.
During the four days of the conference, participants will take on the role of UN delegates, representing different countries and collaborating with peers from every continent to solve real issues on the global agenda. Through debates, negotiations, and alliance-building, they will put into practice essential skills like communication, critical thinking, and leadership.
WEMUN NY is not just an academic event, but a true life training ground. Participants will develop skills that will prepare them for the future: leadership, international relations management, and negotiation abilities. The opportunity to interact with different cultures in an international environment will contribute to their personal and professional growth.
During the event, participants will stay at the prestigious Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, one of New York’s most iconic hotels. With breathtaking views of the city and a modern, secure atmosphere, the Marriott provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience.
In addition to the conference, students will have the chance to discover the wonders of New York, including Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, the Natural History Museum, and the Empire State Building. Each visit will offer a rich cultural experience and a chance to immerse in the vibrant magic of one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
The program is open to high school and university students. The only requirement is a basic knowledge of English; no diplomatic experience is needed—just curiosity, passion, and a willingness to embrace a unique experience.
